In spite of the amazing virtues which unite all dogs, they are also unique creatures with distinctive personalities, traits, habits, behaviors, and, grooming needs. Just like humans need specific skin or hair care products based on ethnicity, climate, skin profile, etc., so do dogs -- but even more so.
There are some 165 different breeds of dogs recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC), not to mention mixed breeds or even the so-called designer breeds like the labradoodle or the puggle. The Isle of dog system works from the outside-in with topical solutions like shampoos, conditioners and grooming sprays, and from the inside-out with coat supplements. While products can be used independently, we strongly recommend use of the entire system to enhance the dog's health, well-being and appearance.
The Isle of Dogs grooming system is based on a unique formulation of two natural resources believed to have dermatological benefits for dog's skin and coats, and proven to enhance each dog's unique coat.
Both ingredients, Evening Primrose Oil and Royal Jelly, are used in most Isle of Dogs products, as appropriate. These products, including shampoos, conditioners, conditioning sprays, and supplements, work best when used as a system.
