The atmosphere at CoastGrooming is very relaxed. Each visit is an opportunity to discuss your choice of services. Meanwhile your dog is allowed free play with a variety of toys and samples of treats from our boutique buyk9.com. No cages at CoastGrooming, you will find your dog waiting for you in comfort. Our objective is to ensure our guests leave relaxed, clean and re-energized.

Dog Bath

$ 25 Simple bath dogs under 35 pounds, not matted or shedding
$ 35 Basic bath dogs 40 - 70 pounds, not matted or shedding

Bathing includes choice of natural shampoos and conditioner finish rinse. Ears are cleaned, and hand plucked if needed. Hand fluff dried and full body brushing. Finishing with a moisturizing shea butter paw massage.

Shampoos

Tea Tree

Neutralizes strong pet odors, soothes irritated skin, offers relief from itching and allergens, naturally anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and flea repelling.

Contains: Saponified Organic Oils of Coconut, Olive and Jojoba, Natural Essential Oil Blend Including Tea Tree and Organic Orange Oil, Organic Aloe Vera, and Rosemary Extract

Green Tea & Bergamot

Pure, natural ingredients. Botanical extracts. You'll know the difference the first time you snuggle with your furry friend after a bath. Harsh, alcohol-based shampoos can leave your pet's coat dry and irritated, but not Buddy Wash. Heal. Soothe. Moisturize. Rejuvenate. Your furry friend will thank you. Did we forget to mention the light and refreshing herbal scent? Consider it a bonus. Not all soothing shampoos have to smell like medicine, do they?

Lavender & Mint

Oatmeal Deshedding Shampoo

Promotes a healthier skin and coat to reduce excess shedding. Enriched with Omega 3 and 6 Fatty Acids plus other vitamins and proteins to help promote healthier skin, a shiny topcoat, and reduce excessive shedding.

Ingredients: Coconut base, hydrolyzed wheat protein, calendula extract, hydrolyzed oat protein, kava extract, vitamin E, Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, chamomile extract, aloe vera, carica papaya extract and malva sylvestris extract.

Deshedding Rinse

Use the FURminator deShedding Solution after shampooing and before brushing to help remove undercoat and loosen the hair before brushing. Regular use helps reduce amount of dander and hair for a shed-less environment. This is ideal for use in households with allergy sufferers.

Ingredients: kava, hydrolyzed wheat protein, vitamin A, Omega-3 fatty acid, Omega-6 fatty acid, oatmeal, vitamin E, vitamin B5, aloe vera, and chamomile.

Scrubs

$ 8.00 added to dog bath.

Skin conditioning scrubs, added to a basic bath restore and maintain healthy skin, sooths and hydrates, removes dead skin-cells, dander and oily build-up.

Exfoliating: Neutralizes strong pet odors Prevents dry flaky dandruff. Contains: Turbino Sugar, Virgin coconut oil, Cedar EO

Softning: Soothes and restores healthy skin Contains: Organic oats, Organic sunflower seeds, buttermilk, Lavendar EO

Pampered Paws

$ 8.00 for any size dog.
Included free with dog bath.

Paw care is an important issue for comfort and health and we offer a new approach without cutting tools, resulting in smooth nails and pads. Finishing with a shea butter pad massage.

Detailed Partial Trim

De Shedding

During seasonal shedding keep their coat healthy and prevent matts by thinning the undercoat seasonally especially with the heavy shedding breeds. ( Malamute, Shepards, Great Pyreneese, Goldens, Newfoundlands, Huskeys, Eskimo's, Pomerainians and simialr mixes)

We use a deshedding shampoo with a gentle pump spraying to the skin, softening and washing away the loose hairs. Followed by a rinse high in fatty acids. Both are made of natural ingredients. After this hydrobath forced air dried and deshedding combed and brushed. This removes an abundance of hair here. Extremely thick undercoats may take a follow up bath and brush out.

De Matting

$ 15.00 per 15 minutes.

Dogs need to be free of matts before bathing. The first 10 minutes are included free with a dog bath. We cater to cowards, our method of splitting matts is quick and painless.

Hand Stripping

A complete strip may be necessary twice a year, but a coat can be maintained for a considerable time by regular grooming and frequent detailed partial stripping called rolling the coat. hand stripped about twice a year to remove the old blown coat to allow the new weatherproof coat to come through. A blown coat is long and shaggy and parts between clumps of hair.

Your dog is invited to our retreat

$ 25.00 per 24 hours.

The ultimate luxury, your dog is not boarded, they are on retreat. Lessons stimulate the human bond, using positive reinforcement, including healthy meals and treats. Socialization with family obedience training, positive reward based reinforcement. Dogs are drilled in basic family obedience commands includes name response, come, wait, sit, heeling, and no jumping. Full grooming with natural ingredients. Comfy Ruffwear Urban Sprawl bed and a Pendleton wool throw blanket. Landscaped and fully fenced Play yard full of new toys to test from our boutique. Dogs have access to indoor Redwood Barn and into our home with us. Each eats and sleeps in their own room. On site supervision is 24x7.

3-5 Hours on the day of your grooming $10 Great for people that work and want to leave the dog the full day and know they will get lots of attention.

All other playdates any stay up to 24 Hours for $25

If you need to pick up or drop off extra late or early there is a surcharge $8 before 6:30AM, or after 10PM

Private Dog Training

$ 25.00 per 24 hours.

Private lessons are designed to solve whatever behavior issues and training needs your dog may have, fine tuning in one or more specific areas.

Example: Pulling, jumping, guarding, barking, house training, destruction, separation anxiety, herding, crate training, socialization, puppy enrichment, family obedience (sit, down, come, stay, leave it, off, loose leash, heel, target) beginners and intermediate agility...

After an initial assessment meeting, your dog gets personal coaching sessions. His personal trainer leaves a detailed report on your dog's achievements and assigns daily exercises. This weekly workout in manners gives a jump start and then the homework improves your training skills and transfers control to you.

The initial assessment is a quarter hour consulting with the owners, they leave with a questionnaire to be returned after two hours to a closing quarter hour consultation. During the week at any time feel free to contact us.

Total cost is $125 payable in advance, no rescheduling or refunds without 24 hour notice. Scheduled sessions run five consecutive weeks, for two and a half hours each.

Lessons may be added to playdates for $25 per day, especially good for specific goals.

In training we use food treats as a training reward and positive reinforcement.
